Traditionally considered first and foremost as an
affluent tourist destination, Lucerne is ideally situated
in the historic and scenic heart of what many believe
to be “true” Switzerland. It is located in Central
Switzerland with snow-capped mountains, pure lakes,
cowbells, alpine villages and meadows full of edelweis.
Once a fisherman’s village, the charming town now
has a population of 58,890, and straddles the Ruess
River on the Western edge of Lake Lucerne. While on
Lake Lucerne, you are in eyesight of Mount Pilatus
and Rigi. One of the city’s most famous landmarks is
Chapel Bridge, a wooden bridge first built in the 14th
century and one of the most photographed landmarks in Europe. The distance to travel from Destin
to Lucerne is 4,948 miles or 7,948 km.

With a Mexican heart and a Caribbean soul, Cozumel
is a paradise where tradition, flavor and joy come
together. Famous all over the world for its coral reefs,
there are plenty of water sports such as diving, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, kayaking and more. The
Mayan Ruins of the Yucatan Peninsula are truly a
treasure to behold. These lost cities hail back to
as many as 2,000 years ago, when the Mayas were
practicing such mathematical genius as astronomy
and physics, long before the white man had figured
out the secrets. Nobody knows what happened to the
Mayas, but their legends—and their cities—live on to
this day. Air miles from Destin Airport to Cozumel: 683
miles (1, 100 km).
