When discussing his passion, Billy declared, “I never deconstruct a woman’s makeup,
but rather see the potential—the potential of her face—the potential of what she can be,
and that is what drives me.”
We discussed the beauty offerings found at his company website and I learned of his
motivation for the Paint Brush Collection. He said that he was constantly cutting brushes
and altering beauty instruments to meet his needs. In his opinion, the marketplace just did
not offer a comprehensive line of brushes that could adequately accommodate women’s

When asked what one beauty item should every woman have in
her makeup bag? A high-quality eyelash curler.
Billy’s bi-coastal lifestyle has a twist. With residences in Los Angeles,
New York and in Destin (which he has owned for a number of years),
he also has a true place in his heart for his hometown. The place that
he could not wait to get out of has become a place he cannot wait to
get back to. Years ago, with a small inheritance from his grandfather,
he purchased his first home in Aberdeen. When the vacant home was
transformed back to its original glory, Billy was bitten by the renovation
bug. Today, with approximately twenty renovated homes completed, he
now has the desire to restore historic homes in Aberdeen.
However, this unlikely real estate investor and visionary is no flipper.
He realized that he could purchase vacant and dilapidated homes at
surprisingly low prices. Many of the homes were at risk of demolition,
