around the world, area native Harley Van Hyning helps
meet the rising demand for information from a local’s
perspective.

Visitors want to enjoy the “inside scoop” on the wide variety of restaurants and entertainment enjoyed by locals., as well as area news of interest for visitors and second home or condo owners. Through the internet, Harley has created a podcast for visitors to listen to and get informed about local events, happenings and hot spots in Destin.

DestinFloridaPodcast.com was launched in December of 2006 and has consistently published a new episode every two weeks. No longer just a summer destination, Northwest Florida’s growing number of events and concerts plus world-famous fishing and beautiful beaches give visitors an immense choice of things for all interests and ages to enjoy.

A special feature of each episode is the inclusion of an original song by local area bands and musicians. Harley plays one of their tracks and informs listeners where the artist is playing how to learn more at the artist’s website.
